Is your growth stagnating as a result of current economic conditions?
Has the bottom dropped out of your sector? (Think oil and gas here)
Do you have too many eggs in one basket with a few customers?
Are your existing processes limiting your capacity to grow?

If  you are facing one or more of these problems,
then diversifying might be the key.

Whether you are looking at New Product Development or breaking into new markets our free half day Diversification workshop will give you practical techniques and strategies to diversify for growth.

Our industry experts, Adam Payne and Dr Denise Taylor, will focus on two key topics which will guide you through a  practical engaging session looking at how you can evaluate your operational fitness and what you need to do as a
manufacturer to get noticed through marketing.

You will come away from the workshop with the tools you need to carry out an operational fitness audit and gap
analysis, and produce a robust marketing strategy and action plan that will work for you.

As well as a practical and informative workshop, you will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the Manufacturing
Technology Centre, which is not to be missed if you haven't experienced this before.

We will also have other experts joining us from the MTC, Aston University, and Economic Growth Solutions who will be
on hand to talk to you about additional support. You may also be eligible for grant funding if you are an SME, or you may just want some financial advice and guidance.

Who should attend:

  • Directors of manufacturing SMEs looking for additional guidance, support and funding.
  • Operational Directors and Managers of larger companies wanting to break into new markets who need to better understand the supply chain
  • Marketing Directors and Managers looking for more effective ways to engage with audiences in new markets.ou
